I like it

Ishigami takes a huge L in this episode as everyone seemed to ganged up on him. This series has a solid world-building where even the lore about school club & status sound plausible & believable, proving how prestigious Shuuchin is.

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the 12-episode season, Episode 7 follows Episode 6's deeper character work on Ishigami and Kaguya's vulnerabilities, returning to the show's signature lighthearted comedy format to recharge momentum. It maintains the ongoing thread of Shirogane and Kaguya's escalating tension while giving the full council room to breathe as an ensemble. This sets the stage for Episode 8, where Kaguya's desire for affirmation and Shirogane's competitive streak push the emotional and comedic stakes higher heading into the season's back half.
