I relate so much to both Miyuki and Kaguya, so I completely understand why they act so dramatic. I'm a sucker for romance and I love slow burns. This anime really does it for me.

Episode Context

Sitting at the near-midpoint of the twelve-episode season, Episode 5 builds on the communication misfires and affection games established in Episodes 1 through 4, while beginning to flesh out individual insecurities, particularly Miyuki's self-consciousness beyond academics. The Chika-assisted training dynamic introduced here becomes a recurring comedic pillar, and the umbrella segment nudges Kaguya and Miyuki's rivalry closer to genuine romantic territory, setting the emotional groundwork that the second half of the season will escalate.
