Jyu-Oh-Sei: Planet of the Beast King

New faces are appearing, things are escalating, and by this moment , I guess I can already say that I am hooked on the plot. With a few twists here and there , I like that the show isn't afraid to put its characters through difficult choices. It genuinely caught me off guard during some scenes🤯.

Great episode, but I am not sure if I cared for this ending. This season was filled with so much loss, yet it ends on such a somber and hopeful note. I feel like something more could have been added to expand the narrative.

All the secrets are revealed in this episode. Thor's origin and what happened to his parents. A must watch for fans of the series.

This episode had all the best elements of what makes this such an amazing series. It had action, tragedy, emotion, and betrayal. It also continues the absolute uncertainty of what will happen next. It felt like penultimate episode of the season, but happy to see it's not.

For the first time in this series I felt this episode was a miss. It had an interesting finish with the love triangle, but some parts did not make sense. Thor and Karim barely know each other, but the narrative seemed to want us to believe they did not meet a literal day ago. I believe some build up was necessary, especially given how much time his relationship with Tiz has had to grow.

What an interesting love spiral this episode presents. Thor falls for someone new, two people are into him, and one person hates him. This episode also shows the depths of Ziggy's cruelty and ultimate goals. The unpredictability of this series continues to amaze me.

This episode starts the new narrative arc and introduces a few new characters. Each character continuing to be so layered and complex really makes this enjoyable to watch. This allows the viewer to never know where the plot will go next.

The characters motivations are all front and center now. This episode actually made me emotional with everything that conspired. With a potential new villain and change of climate the story appears to be shifting to a new arc.

This series keeps getting better. I would say this was the best episode so far. The complexities of each character are so interesting to watch. Third getting more focus was a highlight. Finding out his true motives was also quite shocking. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I am really loving the dynamic between Thor and Tiz. This episode also further highlights the hero Thor is becoming. Another solid episode.

Another solid episode. We are introduced to some new characters and more worldbuilding. We also delve deeper into Thor and Rai's childhood, as well their brotherly bond. This episode also showed how interesting of a protagonist Thor is, with the many layers to his personality.

This was an excellent start to a series. It had an interesting plot, action, intrique, emotion, and characters that are multi-layered. It also had some absolutely brutal moments, really from start to finish. The planet Chimaera is an interesting setting, so I look forward to the rest of the season.

Overall, a solid and satisfying wrap-up. The happy ending was a little predictable.. maybe even a bit cliche, BUT I didn't hold high expectations for a groundbreaking twist there, so it didn't bother me much. What really worked for me was how it balanced the action with genuine character moments. It’s definitely an underrated classic for anyone into survival sci-fi.

I definitely thought it was a step up from the last one. It keeps the plot moving at a great pace with some solid twists, and the soundtrack deserves another shoutout! It knows exactly when to quiet down and when to elevate a "heavy" scene

Fun episode! We get some action, some closure and some satisfying setpiece. Not the best for me, BUT it’s still enjoyable. That said, I can’t really say I enjoyed it as much as earlier episodes, even with such a major event going down.

As Thor ventures deep into uncharted territory, the episode really expands the world's sense of scale and mystery. Not gonna lie here i was on the edge of my seat for almost the entire run..

A bit of a slow burn to be honest.. but it uses the time well to flesh out characters you might not have cared about in prior episodes. By the end, you'll actually start to care about them. It serves as a great foundation for what's coming next.

We can definitely tell that the story is starting to lean more into politics, which I don't hate, as long as they deliver it the right way by keeping the tension at an all-time high, which I personally think they did well here🙂‍↕️.

Respect has to be earned! That's how it has always been, and it's nice to see that this is exactly what happened here, Thor slowly earning respect instead of everything being handed to him just because he's the "Chosen One." There are plenty of important set pieces here that are vital for the plot.

Thor grew on me right away! I really love seeing his leadership mentality come through. While the duels and ring conflicts are solid enough, the real highlight for me is the character design. I appreciate how grounded and low-key the characters look without needing over-the-top, exaggerated features to be unique👏
