Finale was kind of meh for me, I expected more for Izumi and Natsume. It was an okay finale but it could have ended better with a bang!!!

One of the best aspects of the finale is how grounded it remains. The anime understands that not every feeling can be perfectly resolved, and that realism gives the ending emotional weight. The calm visuals, soft soundtrack, and quiet pacing continue to support the nostalgic atmosphere that defined the entire show.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, 'Get Set, Go!' directly follows 'Roundabout,' which left several emotional threads unresolved, particularly the tangled feelings between Eita, Mio, and Ena. This finale exists to provide closure on every relationship dynamic the series has carefully built across its full run. It's the destination the entire season has been pacing toward: the moment where hesitation ends and these characters finally step forward.
