EPISODE REVIEWS

The aftermath of it all, we see a little more of what Mahito can do and how unhinged he truly is. I enjoyed seeing all these things he can turn himself into, it gave the episode some excitement and as annoying as he is, he sure does have charm.

It is a sad episode but it does bring a lot into perspective and we see character progression in Itadori as he comes to terms with what his life will be now.

Aftermath and setup. Nanami being Nanami — tired, competent, done with everything but still showing up — is a whole character arc compressed into attitude. The pieces moving into place for the next arc feel purposeful. Borderline but Nanami alone makes it worth watching.

Such a great villain you love to hate. The silver lining regarding the school bullying changes was a wholesome touch in a dark arc. The "standard distance" between life and death is so thin here. W storytelling for the long game.

Get in here! That's all I should have to say but I got 280 to work with here. Visceral visuals, skillful strategy, and their passion flows through each punch. I'm not sure what this episode can improve on but I'm the wrong one to ask. Just watch already!

The animation becomes noticably heavier here, the emotions, the tension, the energy and menace land hard. This is a must watch episode.

The action and animation is intense, and Mahito’s Domain Expansion is creepy yet impressive. Nanami’s backstory is also heartbreaking, adding depth to his character.

EP 13 continues the last battle with tight action and choreography, then shifts to emotional depth, exploring Yuji’s struggle to move on, Nanami’s backstory and primary drive, and subtle growth in other characters like Junpei's teacher, adding real heart to the story

Yuji and Nanami push their limits against Mahito, a villain you love to hate. The intense combat highlights the thin line between life and death. The wholesome resolution to the bullying subplot adds a great silver lining to this dark, kinetic arc!
