Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1 Episode 5
⚡ ALL REVIEWS
As the story keeps moving forward the excitement just keeps building, the characters are on another level but the yaga shift is little bit confusion in starting, I am waiting for yuji talks and reactions 😂 that is coming guys.
I don't really understand the narrative in this episode, it's too difficult to digest for casual viewers because we have to be careful, there's no need to ask about the visuals but about the story, meehh.. the focus shifts from the principal, the panda, then Hakari. confusing.
The episode explains how fully autonomous cursed corpses are created and provides deeper background and character development for Panda.
The principal was an absolute boss at keeping his secret to the grave. He ended up making a binding vow that permanently stops anyone from ever using his technique again.
Yaga's storyline was abrupt and flashback moments were unclear. Can imagine it'll be confusing for anime only viewers. Fav moments were #1 La La La Love Song playing in the bg where Kirara and Hakari were introduced (why is no one talking about it?) and #2 Hakari's dialogues! All I hear is Hijikata (Gintama)
Insane episode. Spetacular directing. Crazy good camera shots. AURA FARMED. EGO BOOSTED.
A very strong episode with high tension from beginning to end. The confrontations feel impactful, and the rules of the Culling Game create constant suspense. It ends in a way that makes you immediately want to watch the next episode.
The battlefield intensifies with new, unpredictable twists. Yuji and Megumi face fierce adversaries, while alliances are tested under the pressure of survival. The true motives of key players begin to surface, propelling the conflict toward its boiling point.
After watching the episode, it is evident that the episode had excellent character interaction and visual quality. One of the highlights was the final shot between Kinji Hakari and Yuji Itadori. Overall, the episode was excellent. Overall Rating: 8/10. Two rules of fight club
Episode 5 of Jujutsu Kaisen unleashes a high-voltage showdown as two fighters collide in a relentless, back-and-forth battle. Fast, flashy, and intense, it captures the thrill of risk in the Culling Game while pushing both sides to their limits.
This episode leaned into teaching and dialogue, and it worked beautifully. Strong conversations gave the story a fresh flow, while the plot twist added surprise. Emotional moments hit hard, proving great storytelling doesn’t need nonstop action
Got lost again thanks to pacing, needed an explainer vid. Loved Fushiguro’s vibe, Hakari’s philosophy, and Yuji’s dumb energy 😂 Hakari–Yuji shots looked insane. Still feels off though. The storytelling needs clearer details, especially in backstory. Hoping next episode delivers.
Yuuta comeback and Megumi more appearances on the episode make it more anticipated, I wish we could delves more into Yuuji characters building and make him more shines
Lol had my otaku heart racing 😮💨⚡️ Slow tension, heavy atmosphere, every convo felt loaded. Definitely faster at the start but made it felt like calm before the storm
One of the typical information heavy episodes although feels a bit disjointed. Slower pacing.
