The arc begins with overwhelming scale and urgency, immediately shifting into crisis mode. The atmosphere is dense and oppressive.

Pure chaos. Jogo and his group really prepared a solid plan to contain Gojo. The scenes of them killing non-sorcerers are brutal, but even with all that happening, I love how Gojo remains calm and confident.

The curtains are down, chaos has started! Gojo stepping into the station and immediately flexing on 2 cursed spirits was absolute peak energy. On the flip side, Yuji’s fight with that "clown" provided some top-tier action and much-needed humor. Shibuya is off to a wild start!

The emotional weight hits harder than the fight itself. This ep recontextualizes what betrayal means in this world. Pacing tightens here, Shibuya is loading. T^T

Yuji keeps getting stronger and stronger, and I’m so here for it. And, PEAK Gojo, as always.

It finally brings the hype back with Satoru Gojo stepping into action again. Anytime Gojo enters the battlefield, the whole atmosphere changes. At the same time, we get to see real growth from Itadori. His fight against the grasshopper curse is surprisingly entertaining.

Despite the seriousness of the situation a chance to sneak in comedy and goffy animation is really refreshing. We can really see yuji being able to fight independently showing he is strong enough.

The curtain falls. Graphics of the crowd at Shibuya Station are eerie. Suspense spikes as the Grasshopper Curse is crushed and Gojo enters the subway trap

what an aura by Gojo. This episode tells different plot flows in each place packaged very well especially in the cinematic fight scenes which are very beautiful. Even though there are many theories that really need to be read carefully, I really enjoy this anime.

here the anime takes a slow pace to it, while it contains some part that many may find confusing, especially with the animation, though its still good. though the information about our locust enemy doesn't add up in the grand scheme of things. We can expect the action to continue

GOJO IN SHIBUYA. The station scene. The crowd. The curses. This episode is a full sensory OVERLOAD in the best possible way. MAPPA animating Gojo's Limitless at full power while surrounded by civilians is the most visually spectacular thing this show has ever done. CINEMA.

Shibuya Incident arc is officially oooon. Yuji gets his time to shine and the ending shot of Gojo taking off his blindfold? 👀👀 things are starting to get real

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 8 marks the official launch of the Shibuya Incident arc, the defining conflict of Season 2, following the atmospheric setup of 'Evening Festival' where the veil over Shibuya was cast and the trap was sprung. Everything from the Hidden Inventory flashback arc through the transitional episodes has been building toward this moment. The battles and moral stakes introduced here escalate sharply in the episodes ahead, making this the critical entry point for the season's most consequential stretch.
