QUICK TAKES
After Riko Amanai’s death and seeing the cultists applauding and celebrating, Gojo—emotionally shaken and detached—asks Geto whether they should kill the non-sorcerers responsible for the reaction.
One of the best episodes of anime possibly of all time. Action packed and shocking from minute one, with fantastic animation and brutal emotional highs and lows. Seeing Gojo come into his power and become the man we know in the main series is both satisfying and horrific.
The soundtrack just reaffirms it
The fight scene is really good and I wish to see the toji with only physical strength fighting the strongest" sorcerer
EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the midpoint of the Hidden Inventory prequel arc, Episode 4 escalates directly from the mounting threats and mission complications established in Episode 3, pushing Gojo's growth and the core conflict to a critical inflection point. This episode serves as the dramatic fulcrum of the arc, bridging the buildup of the first three episodes with the fallout explored in Episode 5, ominously titled 'Premature Death,' which promises severe consequences for everything that unfolds here.
