Episode Context

Episode 3 sits at the midpoint of the Hidden Inventory prequel arc that opened Season 2, following Gojo and Geto's successful defense of Riko in Episode 2 and deepening the bonds between the trio before the mission's stakes escalate sharply. This is the calm-before-the-storm installment, building the emotional architecture that Episode 4 ('Hidden Inventory 4') will stress-test as the arc pushes toward its climax. Early-season investment in these character dynamics pays off significantly in the back half of the season.
