Episode Context

As Episode 1 of 24, this is the foundation for everything Stardust Crusaders builds toward, introducing Jotaro, the Stand phenomenon, and the generational stakes carried over from previous JoJo arcs. It transitions the franchise's focus from Hamon-based battles to Stand warfare, a fundamental shift in how conflicts play out. The character introductions and mysteries seeded here directly fuel the globe-spanning journey that the rest of the season constructs.
