Episode Context

As only the second episode of the Egypt arc's 24-episode run, this wraps up the first proper Stand battle on Egyptian soil, establishing that DIO's agents here operate on a different threat level than those encountered on the journey to Egypt. The previous episode introduced both the new enemy Stand user and Iggy as the Speedwagon Foundation's reinforcement, and this conclusion sets the tone for the gauntlet of increasingly dangerous encounters the Joestar group will face as they push closer to DIO's stronghold.
