This was a wholesome episode, but that ending scene was heartbreaking. Naoki slowly changing was new, and his total cold persona was a little softer in this ep. The chaos was predictable and was kind of frustrating to watch, but in a good way, which means the ep was totally compelling.
Kotoko’s energy and decisions are through the roof lmao. I commend her determination to get good results. Also, Little Irie and his cute secret as a baby got me cackling. Also, his mom is the GOAT! That’s the president of the shop for real!
This episode of the female character-focused shoujo anime features absurd comedy while showing Kotoko gradually getting closer to Irie. However, Irie’s “wingman” mom feels unnatural, as her character writing doesn’t align with typical parental behaviour.
