Seiichirou joins a deadly expedition, not from courage, but obligation. It pushes him beyond his control, while Aresh’s protection turns suffocating. With Yua starting to question her role, the story shifts. This isn’t a mission, it’s a setup.

Episode Context

Episode 5 marks the transition past the first act of this twelve-episode series, where earlier episodes established the protagonist's isekai predicament and key relationships, now the story physically moves its characters into a new environment to test those bonds. An expedition arc at this stage typically serves as a catalyst for deepening the central BL dynamic under heightened circumstances. With seven episodes remaining, this outing likely sets the emotional and narrative stakes that will define the season's back half.
