There's action here but it's not that intense or anything that could make us stay hooked until the end. The romance also doesn't feel that important to show. At the end, there's like a 'High School Musical' concept and it's kinda weird. But the songs were good. Just the placement was kinda weird when there was a tragic moment at that time. Overall, not a good impression.

The uniqueness of this episode lies in its blend of Tylor's signature situational comedy with a musical score and storytelling style that feel poetic and nostalgic.

Episode Context

The second chapter of the OVA continues leaning into the tension that makes Tylor such a compelling lead, is he a genius or just impossibly lucky? This episode balances genuine military suspense against the Raalgon Empire with the crew's ongoing exasperation at their captain's baffling decision-making. Expect a tonal mix that keeps drama and comedy in close orbit: serious stakes on the surface, absurdist undercurrents running beneath. Character dynamics among the Soyokaze crew get meaningful screen time, and themes of trust and unconventional leadership are front and center. The pacing is measured rather than action-heavy, rewarding viewers who are invested in the interpersonal friction as much as the interstellar conflict itself.
