Episode Context

Episode 3 used a kitchen mistake to bring Jan Akiyama back to the circumstances that led him to Gobancho's, while deepening the tension around Nichido Otani. Episode 4 turns that grudge into direct action when Otani's resentment brings visiting specialist Ryuji Bito to the restaurant. The episode sets up Otani's larger retaliation in Episode 5's cooking competition.
