A rather standalone final episode with Kotoko solving a confusing case yet again. I really hope for more seasons in the future given that the manga and LN series have more interesting cases to come that shows Kotoko and Kuro's dynamics.

The whole atmosphere shifts into something heavier while the Japanese food cultures are a great touch. Kajio’s obsession drove him into a chaotic life, but his realization of the guilt is one of the highlights. I kinda agree with Kotoko about the burden of Kajio's toxic love.

Final episode yg menurut saya cukup epic bagaimana series ini mengakhiri season alih alih menggunakan kasus raksasa justru malah menutupnya dengan misteri kecil yang terasa seperti satu hari biasa dalam kehidupan Kotoko. Visual restoran tradisional juga memberikan warna dan atmosfer yang berbeda dari arc Otonashi.
