EPISODE REVIEWS
This episode felt like a lack of effort for part of the writers; just a bunch of abilities and characters came out of nowhere, telling us that nothing that happened in the last 3 episodes was even necessary, so it's really disappointing to watch.
Franklin definitely seems to portray a legitimate threat. The tension in the penultimate episode really carries weight. The battles show high levels of complexity and intensity, but I still do not feel entirely engaged by the villain. It's well crafted suspenseful buildup that could benefit from more energy.
This ep is a straight-up showdown and the hype is so real. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand Franklin’s actual motives, and Ray’s resolve here is everything.
