This episode definitely had some very weird and uncomfortable scenes that felt out of place; also, some dialog felt completely misplaced, and the fight scenes, apart from the first one, were bad.

There isn't too much story advancement in the main plot, and some of the side characters' backstory has actually helped. Having the game depicting an escape from reality adds an emotional quality to the series. Whether it's running away from personal issues or trying to fix past mistakes

This ep is a total setup for war and the tension is honestly building so well. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand the Franklin game plan and the history of the Altar kingdom.
