Ouji's annoyance is clear, but Yoshiko, ever the force of nature, declares she has come to his rescue. She chides him for his empty fridge and then asks him to go out to eat with her.

Yoshiko then reveals her true motive, gushing about a handsome barista she has a crush on and needs Ouji to accompany her to the restaurant out of embarrassment. Ouji immediately refuses, citing his annoyance with her tactics. To deter her further, he declares he has a girlfriend and cannot go. Yoshiko is shocked, questioning his quick 'girlfriend cycle' and complaining about his popularity.

Yoshiko, intrigued despite herself, presses Ouji for details about this mysterious new girlfriend. Ouji corrects himself, revealing the barista is not just an acquaintance, but 'my girlfriend's father.'

Yoshiko is utterly dumbfounded by Ouji's revelation, her mouth agape in cartoonish disbelief. Ouji, annoyed, tries to silence her, but the news has shaken her. Suddenly, Yoshiko receives a phone call, uses it as an excuse to flee, and tells Ouji to pay for their meal, promising to pay him back. She quickly hands him her apartment key and rushes out, leaving Ouji bewildered.

As Yoshiko flees, the barista's expression turns sad and thoughtful. He confides in a shocked Ouji that he dislikes 'this person' and then drops a bombshell: Yoimiya knows about Yoshiko. Meanwhile, Yoshiko is shown running frantically through the night, her face a mix of determination and worry, hinting at a desperate search or an urgent message. The prolonged sequence of her running emphasizes the urgency of her mission.
