As per usual, another episode full of planning and speculations for a flawless attack plan. Animation wise, it's okay, it's very much an average middle of the road lore dump episode but very good dialogue and character building.

ep 7 is that “everything is connecting too fast now” episode 😳🧩 clues start snapping together but it still feels unstable ⚡👀 every explanation has a hidden angle, like nobody’s fully telling the truth 💀🔥 got that slow-burn tension that keeps messing with your head

Episode Context

This is a chess-before-the-battle episode. Episode 7 shifts into a deliberately slow, cerebral gear as Kotoko and Kurou sit down to map out their strategy against Steel Lady Nanase. Don't expect action here, the draw is watching two sharp minds dissect a supernatural problem with almost academic precision. The tone is contemplative and dialogue-heavy, leaning hard into the series' mystery roots over its supernatural spectacle. What keeps it engaging is the interplay between Kotoko's confident intellect and Kurou's more grounded skepticism, giving their partnership real texture. If you've been enjoying In/Spectre for its talky, logic-puzzle approach to the occult, this episode doubles down on that identity. If you've been waiting for a payoff to the Steel Lady buildup, this is the calm before the storm, patience required.
