This was a much stronger episode on the logical and speculative side. There's a lot of planning and plotting that sets up what we can expect next. Strong narratively.

In/Spectre ep 6 is that “ok things are getting serious now” type episode 😳🧩 mystery layers stacking fast, every convo feels like it’s hiding something ⚡👀 logic battles are sharp but the vibe is lowkey creepy too 💀🔥 couldn’t blink for half the episode tbh

Episode Context

The midpoint of In/Spectre's first season leans hard into the show's defining strength: intellectual warfare dressed in supernatural clothing. 'Logical Fiction' is exactly what the title promises, an episode built around constructing narratives rather than throwing punches. Kotoko takes center stage as a strategist, with the Steel Lady Nanase case demanding more brainpower than brute force. Kurou and Saki round out the dynamic, and their interactions carry an undercurrent of complicated history that adds texture to the investigative proceedings. Pacing is deliberate and dialogue-heavy, rewarding viewers who enjoy watching characters think their way through problems. If you've been on board with the show's talky, puzzle-box approach to the supernatural, this episode doubles down. Expect atmosphere over action, and strategy sessions that feel like chess matches against an invisible opponent.
