Ok how can this become so EPIC?! The energy, the wholesomeness, the twist, and the character development; it gives different standard for anime's female character. While the plot here feels like the end of the story, but the final scene reveals something big about to happen.

What an amazing and fun episode. AILEEN. Seriously she is such a breath of fresh air of female main characters. I am utterly obsessed. This episode truly highlights her badass character. A satisfying episode, with both serious and comedic themes. Super enjoyable despite the fast pace. 10/10

Aileen’s appearance at the ball stands out, especially with her unexpected costume choice. The interaction with Claude carries emotional weight despite earlier distance. Their exchange feels more genuine here. I think this episode balances humor and sincerity really well.

THE PLOT TWIST! Hating a Cedric and Lilia couldn't be easier at this point, the conflict and danger they cause make me wanna scream. This episode blends the serious with heart felt moment and humor so well though. Glad to see such a flushed out episode for our characters.

Things escalate fast—schemes, misunderstandings, and emotional moments all hit at once. Aileen keeps pushing forward without hesitation, and it’s satisfying to watch. It gets a bit chaotic, but that energy keeps it exciting ⚔️

WONDERFUL plot twist! Amazing episode overall, real tonal shift, but that plot twist- wow. Also, prince Cedric is incredibly hateable. The scene around thirteen minutes in was very tense, and I enjoyed it to no end. This is great for a smaller series. Definitely watchable.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the one-third mark of the season, Episode 4 pivots from Aileen's external reputation battles in Episode 3 to the internal fractures within Claude's own circle, raising personal stakes alongside political ones. This is a bridge episode that solidifies core relationships and trust dynamics that will clearly pay off in the back half of the series. It sets the foundation for whatever larger conflict is brewing by ensuring viewers are invested in the characters first.
