EPISODE REVIEWS

Wow, this episode is bursting with emotions. Behind the glitz and glitter of the idol entertainment industry, there is something harsh going on that is always being hidden just to continue the image of sparkling idols. Idols always have worries about their careers, and sometimes if worse comes to worst, the group goes into a disbandment. It's nice that these kinds of worries are being tackled here.

Wow, this episode is so emotionally charged and tense. We have Yamato still carrying the enormous burden of the Chiba Salon's secret, and this dilemma of trusting friends when you need them most is explored in several scenes with other characters going through similar situations. We meet Toma, an adorable tsundere who resents Idolish7 for a very valid reason: popularity has nothing to do with talent. We also see Ryu meeting Mido and reflecting on what that image they've built for their music career means to him. I feel like I watched three episodes in one; there's so much content. By the way, the visuals for the opening musical performance are really well done; there's a noticeable improvement over previous seasons.

Sakura message was such a treat and Riku and Touma are just pure cinnamon rolls. So happy the narrative gave Ryuu some well-deserved screen time. I just want good things to happen to him.
