EPISODE REVIEWS

This show really depicts what happens inside the entertainment industry that viewers have no idea about. It's nice to see something different aside from idols doing what they love. Yamato's struggle is something most people in the industry also goes through so it's cool we got a depiction of it.

What I love about Idolish7 is that it goes beyond the hopes and talents of idols, delving into the machinations of large corporations and the business dealings behind each artist group. It's a ruthless, behind-the-scenes side of things, but no less interesting. In this case, we see Yamato struggling to work because of the guilt he feels about the family secret he carries becoming a ticking time bomb that could affect his group; a bomb in the hands of unscrupulous people waiting for the right moment to strike. How much can the dreams of young people do against the cruel machinations of the entertainment industry?

Banri had me laughing but the episode got real heavy real quick after that. Also, can't wait for the Chiba Salon reveal. That Momo and Ryo scene was top-tier tension and Ryo's soundtrack is absolute gold. It's catchy, theatrical and dramatic just like his character.
