It is refreshing to see the interaction between Hayakawa and Somei. They actually look cute together. And then, the interaction between Masugu, Yui, and their coworkers also fun to watch.

This is a good change of pace. It’s always fun to see the side characters’ romance. I never expected to see this side of Hayakawa. She can also be cute! That said, I can’t help but laugh at how silly everyone is when they party together, and I especially love the singing moments.

Coming off Episode 7's focus on Yui and Masugu's anniversary milestone, Episode 8 deliberately broadens the narrative lens at the two-thirds mark of the season by investing in Hayakawa and Somei's dynamic.
