"It's the same sense of loss I feel when a slice-of-life anime series ends." LOL. I totally get him, and I'm glad he acknowledged that. 🤣 This was actually fun if you ignore the weird parts, and I even ended up rooting for them. I might check out the second season just for the bomb they dropped. 😱

Episode Context

The season finale of this bite-sized married-life comedy delivers exactly what fans have come to expect: a warm, genuine look at Hajime and Kaoru's relationship wrapped in sharp humor. As the final entry in a thirteen-episode run of shorts, the episode carries a sense of culmination without forcing grand dramatic stakes. Expect the signature rapid-fire otaku gags from Hajime balanced against Kaoru's grounded, occasionally exasperated perspective, but with an added layer of emotional sincerity that gives the ending real weight. The tone leans slightly more reflective than usual, acknowledging how far the couple has come while keeping the comedic rhythm intact. It's a compact, satisfying closer that rewards viewers who've invested in this odd but endearing pair, leaving things on a hopeful and affectionate note.
