A fast-paced gag comedy anime with each episode only lasting about 3 minutes. We get to see into the lives of our main leads as well as their personalities. A great watch, but only if you enjoy the comedy here.

This is not my usual genre pick, but it's actually so interesting. The intro basically explains the whole dynamic of their relationship. LOL. It's cut into segments and very easy to watch. Just a chill comedy that's also realistic in some ways. "I'm not about to work until I die" is so relatable.

Episode Context

A short-form comedy that wastes zero time establishing its central hook: Kaoru, a no-nonsense office worker, navigating married life with Hajime, her deeply entrenched otaku husband. The humor is sharp and rapid-fire, built entirely on the contrast between these two personalities clashing over everyday moments. Expect quick-cut gags, fourth-wall-adjacent otaku references, and a surprisingly warm undercurrent beneath all the comedic friction. At roughly three minutes per episode, the pacing is punchy, every line has to land, and most of them do. The tone sits comfortably between absurdist comedy and genuine slice-of-life sweetness, never lingering too long on sentiment before pivoting back to a punchline. This is a show about love expressed through bewilderment, and the premiere nails that energy immediately.
