Nice episode. The end was so funny.

The action is solid, but I enjoyed the comedy just as much. Watching everyone slowly realize their rookie teammate is absurdly overpowered never gets old.

I like that Lock spends most of the episode mentoring Ario and Ginny instead of hogging all the spotlight. It makes him feel more like a veteran than just another OP protagonist.

Lock trying to pretend he's an F-rank while casually deleting bosses that should wipe entire parties. The disguise is already falling apart.

That breakfast scene where Serlis asked if Luck was her dads secret kid was a total mess and seeing him spray his drink everywhere was the funniest way to end things

That medallion flashback showed why his friends never came back for him in the void and it makes sense that he has total mental resistance after fighting demons for a whole decade straight

Shia went from being a proud warrior to basically following Luck around like a puppy in record time, and now the guild master's daughter is staring him down at the breakfast table

I found it so funny how Luck tries to act like an average adventurer, yet he gives Shia a holy relic sword and then casually destroys a cursed medallion with his grip strength

That vampire was so full of himself until Luck used that drain touch move on him and suddenly the hunter became the meal which was a ruthless way to end the fight

That goblin lord looked like it was going to crush the fox girl until Luck just stopped that giant iron club with one hand and made the whole fight look like a joke

My screen just went blank on the subtitles during the vampire speech and I had to guess what that pale guy was saying but Luck just ignored the mind control anyway

Goran going full parent mode and yelling at his legendary hero friend for being out late was hilarious and he was actually turning red from the stress of losing his buddy again

That poor beastman girl looked so confused when he pulled out that silver F rank card after he basically turned a high level monster into a pile of dust with his bare hands

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the high-stakes premiere that established Luck's return and his mythic reputation, Episode 2 does the necessary work of grounding that legend in something personal. It shifts gears to explore who Luck is now versus who he was, laying the relational and thematic groundwork for conflicts that are clearly beginning to take shape. Viewers can expect this episode to pay dividends as the season's larger story threads start to tighten.
