I BECAME A LEGEND AFTER MY 10 YEAR-LONG LAST STAND. HAS NO VOTE THIS WEEK
Synopsis
With a demon army closing in, Luck Lock Franzen tells his friends to go on ahead while he holds them off. Standard heroic last stand stuff. Except he doesn't die. He just keeps fighting, no sleep, no rest, sword clashing and blood raining for what feels like a long battle but turns out to be ten straight years. When he finally kills the demon commander and walks out, he's somehow de-aged into a teenager, and the world has moved on without him. His name is carved into statues. He's a legend. And all he wants is to lay low. So he slaps on a fake name, registers as a rookie adventurer, and tries to live quietly in a world that won't stop reminding him he's supposed to be dead. The fun here is watching an absurdly overpowered guy who can learn and copy enemy magic trying to blend in as a beginner, while the gap between his reputation and his teenage appearance keeps causing problems. There's solid action when fights break out, but the comedy of Luck navigating his own fame and a society that changed while he was gone gives it a lighter edge. This TV series from Studio Gekkou adapts the light novel and airs in 2026. If you liked the OP protagonist energy of Overlord or the isekai-adjacent time displacement vibes of Re:Zero, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero's underdog-turned-legend arc will also find something to latch onto here.

Lock's food storage vault bit was so dumb and so charming. Full dimensional magic on a pantry while the city has people getting turned into vampire snacks. Priorities. Also the winking bragging about being a secret master mage was peak old man energy.
I kept thinking about Fie chained up in that lab the whole episode. That little girl crying in the moonlight while the adults work above her sets up something dark. The fun vampire stuff on the surface hides a real creepy basement plot.
Cellulis clutching onto her sword to look brave only to scream and run with actual tears was so real. Lock treating her like his old war partner and her getting secretly flattered by it is the funniest dynamic in the show by far.
The rats swarming Ario and Genie kept feeling hopeless until Lock came down and just froze the whole tunnel. Then he still made it into a team play so they got the credit too. That man never lets the rookies feel worthless.
That vampire maid saying there is no damage while a whole wall behind her is rubble gave me chills. The way she kept that polite smile while the noble watched from the window above was way creepier than any mutated rat.
Milka just grabbing those green fragments and casually solving the puzzle before anyone else could was perfect. Nobody treats her like a threat but she always comes through with the random knowledge at the exact right moment.
Aku kurang tahu bagaimana perasaanku terhadap anime ini. Episode menurutku cukup membosankan. Stakes-nya rendah, fsn sulit untuk dinikmati. Ditambah lagi, banyak bagian animasinya yang terlihat aneh.
She looks so adorable at the end xD
New family member, precious lil bean
The doggo bein a goob is a nice touch, funny how it followed the 4 of them out of the lair AND THE FACT THAT SHE DEFEATED ARCH VAMPS WITHOUT REALISING IT XDDDDD
cocky bastard, 20 bucks says Luck will beat his ass next episode xD
