📖 SYNOPSIS
Ji Ning spent his entire life on Earth sick, knowing he'd die before adulthood. Then he actually dies — and wakes up reincarnated into a world where Immortals clash with Fiendgods and dynasties last millions of years. Not a bad second chance, all things considered. This 26-episode ONA from Shenman Entertainment adapts the popular web novel and follows Ning as he's reborn into a powerful clan, finally getting the healthy body he never had, and begins walking the path of cultivation in a realm that's equal parts beautiful and ruthless. The early episodes do a solid job establishing just how vast and layered this world is — there's Ki Refining, Fiendgod body training, and an entire cosmology that rewards patience if you're into that kind of worldbuilding. The 3D animation is genuinely impressive here, giving the martial arts sequences real weight and making the mystical landscapes feel lived-in rather than decorative. The orchestral soundtrack pulls more than its share of the emotional load too. Tonally, it balances action-packed cultivation battles with quieter, more emotional beats about a kid who just wants to not be powerless anymore. If you liked Swallowed Star or Stellar Transformations, this sits comfortably in that same lane — sprawling Xianxia epic, steady power progression, a protagonist earning every level. Fans of Tales of Demons and Gods will also find familiar ground. It's not reinventing anything, but it executes the formula with real craft.
