The moment that Oreki repeated what Sawakiguchi said on the previous episode it suddenly felt wrong. I wondered, was this what Hongou wanted? and to add to my doubts, we didn’t get to see the reaction of Eba who is Hongou’s best friend 🤔. Chitanda and Ibara's reaction also didn't feel right and for the love of everything that is right why didn't they do the most obvious thing from the beginning, asking Hongou's bestfriend!! 😤

That was unexpected. Just when I thought everything was over, that happened—and not to mention, Oreki’s deduction was already impressive on its own. But that just makes things even more interesting. I can’t help but wonder, "what’s the real mystery behind it all?".

This arc is getting intriguing. For the last three episodes, the plot was building up and the pacing was slow. But that last line of Ibara made Oreki stunned and the plot brighten. Irisu's approach and interaction with Oreki made this episode interesting. Unexpected cliffhanger!
