that golden hour lighting is actually unreal and you could frame any shot of the apartment as a painting

I felt bad for those passengers when Tsukasa was driving because she was losing it behind the wheel and her screaming at the pedals made me laugh way too hard

Episode Context

Two episodes from the finale, 'Reminiscence: Blindman's Buff' shifts the series into a more introspective register. Where Hyakki Yakoushou typically balances eerie supernatural encounters with quiet emotional beats, this entry leans into memory and reflection, the kind of episode that asks you to sit with its atmosphere rather than chase its plot. Expect the characteristic interplay between Ritsu and the demon guardian Blue Storm, filtered through a melancholic, almost dreamlike lens. The 'Blindman's Buff' framing suggests a game of hidden truths and misdirection, where what characters cannot see may matter more than what they can. Pacing is likely measured and deliberate, rewarding viewers already invested in the series' layered supernatural folklore and the slow-burn complexity of its central relationship.
