This episode is a reality check for anyone in a creative field. Seeing how the obsession with deadlines and cutthroat competition ends up creating a bureaucratic monster is as funny as it is painful. The way Y runs her publishing "empire" while the world falls apart is a perfect reflection of how we prioritize work over our own mental health. It blows my mind how they turn an office conflict into something so bizarre and entertaining.

It goes without saying that 80% of this episode, I still had a hard time grasping what the hell was going. But towards the end, they made reference to something happening in the real world, and it connected to me that this anime is what the world would be like in the apocalypse.
