The theme of this episode seems to be tools 🤔. The first story shows how Hozuki got his Kanabō back when he was going through his angsty teenage phase, while the second story introduces his childhood friends from the Engineering Department, the people behind the tools used in Hell. It also works as a proper introduction for the two characters and gives us a glimpse of what they do.
