How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer

It starts with an interesting and compelling premiere, and ends the series with a quietly satisfying open ending. Although it leaves you wanting more despite the progression pace being leisurely, it remains thoroughly entertaining. Furthermore, the characters' development from their initial encounter up to this finale successfully builds their genuine vibrant synergy and relationship bond. Granted that the series lacks deeper insights to slightly know further about them, the cute chibi reactions elevate the overall show and never fail to create an uplifting mood. Honestly, this truly deserves a next season!!!

Actually, I can't blame Hagi for his perplexity toward Kohaku. It shows up as a natural reaction against today's modern societal norms and stereotypical mindsets. But still, his behavior feels a bit excessive at times. I much prefer the contrasting chemistry between Asagi and Fuji. Even though their moments together are kinda rare, they are always entertaining and their interactions flow much smoother and feel more genuine. On the other hand, Tokiwa and Suo's dynamic is starting to lean toward being a bit exaggerated because of how Fuji usually handles their situations. Despite all this, it is still a somewhat good episode.

And that's it. Overall a pretty cute anime. Less on the serious side when it came to romance more casual if that makes sense. Highlights for me were Fuji and Asagi and then Suou just in general.

To be honest, it is nice to admire the girls' masculine aesthetic since their looks are much more appealing compared to Tokiwa, Hagi and Asagi. However, it feels a bit overwhelming sometimes because their personalities blend together so seamlessly, and they even take the lead in creating skip beat moments compared to the boys. Although I am not against it and actually find it romantically thrilling and sweet, I much prefer seeing more of their softer side. And even when their feminine visuals are shown, the masculine features remain subtly visible, nevertheless, their true feelings are precisely expressed and elevated at the same time. Plus, that jacket scene was purely slapstick comedy, and I thoroughly enjoyed rewatching it over and over.

Hagi still hasn't locked in... My brother in christ, SHE THE SAME GIRL. Like she don't even change personality while crossdressing around you bro.... He keeps making it more awkward than it needs to be. It's lowkey annoying

It seems like the narrative's constant focal point is on Hagi and Kohaku, which is very entertaining because it makes their romantic development even more heart fluttering. However, Hagi's frequent overthinking and reactions can be slightly annoying and feel exaggerated at times. Nonetheless, their dynamic is still enjoyably sweet. He just really needs to man up and firmly stabilize his mindset so his behavior aligns better with his mature appearance rather than reflecting a childish attitude. His character genuinely needs strong growth, but I still love everyone's charming personalities.

Episode follows up on the awkward misunderstanding from the last one. Most of the episode is camping but like the camping serves a purpose. It's not just fun background for the characters like the zoo was if that makes sense.

An unhurried tempo truly defines this episode, yet the ultimate payoff brings a wealth of witty dialogue and highly amusing moments that heavily elevate the plot's entertainment value. Plus, the exaggerated reactions from Sou's fans serve as a standout highlight that delivers energetic comedy. On the other hand, the ending part is charmingly cute due to the interaction of the featured characters, making it absolutely fun to watch.

Furthermore, their dynamic compatibility shines beautifully through sweet and heart fluttering moments. Granted that the pacing remains highly moderate, everything transforms into an incredibly worthwhile watch.

Another episode centered around my personal fav pairing, Asagi and Fuji. She got innocent Mr. :3 working her R18 booth for a bit lol.

And even though their male appearance largely dominates the series episodes, they still manage to show a subtle touch of their femininity which was definitely great. In addition to that, their dynamic interactions throughout the duration are timely and thoroughly well-balanced, making every scene more enjoyable and bound to put a smile on your face.

Despite the sluggish duration of this episode, it was absolutely redeemed by its comedic approach. Aside from that, Asagi's innocent character totally gives a contrasting humorous flavor to this story. Plus, the girls' reaction at the end was certainly relatable, I was utterly dumbfounded and flabbergasted while watching.

This episode delivers pure entertainment! Every interaction between the characters creates a delightfully appealing synergy that keeps me constantly smiling. And the narrative content this time stays exceptionally lighthearted, making it an absolute joy to watch. Additionally, Sou and the rest of their group feature a much more attractive visual design compared to Tokiwa and his friends. Plus, Hagi's bewilderment is simply genuinely comical.
