This episode was really good, especially focusing on Sengoku. The sleepover part was the funniest and made me laugh a lot. Overall, a fun and entertaining episode to watch!

The pacing is perfect, combined with a natural and straightforward plot. Their antics had me in stitches, there's always some kind of misunderstanding! But that’s what brings the story to life. Ishikawa really captures the panic, successfully conveying the tension to the audience haha. The ending leaves you with a sense of sweet, genuine friendship.

Episode Context

A pure hangout episode that leans fully into the comedy side of Horimiya's DNA. The boys take center stage here as Miyamura, Iura, and Ishikawa pile into Sengoku's place for a sleepover, and the result is exactly the kind of chaotic, warm energy you'd expect from cramming this group into one room. Expect sharp comedic timing built around the awkwardness of close quarters, playful ribbing, and the kind of low-stakes tension that comes from teenage boys being terrible at personal space. There's a thread of genuine curiosity woven in around Miyamura's guarded nature, giving the laughs a bit of emotional texture. The pacing is relaxed and slice-of-life through and through, no dramatic beats, just friendship rendered with affection and plenty of physical comedy. A comfort-food episode.
