Sawada’s efforts here are absolutely delightful. The warm atmosphere in the lead up to the long awaited day makes the storyline feel more grounded and makes us even more eager to reach the big day. The plot is well structured and told in a relaxed tone, yet the warmth of the relationships between the characters never wanes. The quotes are lovely too, always memorable. I’m quite moved by the little details.
