Episode Context

Building directly on episode 3's exploration of unrequited love, this fourth installment deepens each character's emotional entanglements rather than resolving them, making it a crucial relationship-building chapter early in the 24-episode run. Mayama's conflicted loyalties and Hagu's internal pressures are given sharper definition here, establishing tensions that will ripple through the rest of the season. It functions as both a character study and a setup episode, quietly laying groundwork for the shifts in dynamic that the coming episodes will bring to the surface.
