This episode is silly on purpose and I commend it for that honestly. A great palette cleanser after ep 10's heavier tone. The grunts without mohawks look weirdly vulnerable. A very funny bit of character work hiding inside a completely dumb premise. Nicely done.

The Mohawk ban crushes the grunts’ confidence, helmets on, they can’t even handle a drunk. But once Nobu pulls them off, they bounce back instantly. Simple animation, strong expressions, and a funny yet relatable plot about identity, with a perfect ironic ending.

OMG, even with no info, I'm already pausing every frame of Nobu's journey in Raoh's army! There HAS to be some deep lore or tiny nods to the OG series hidden somewhere in ep 11, I just know it! 🕵️‍♀️✨

This comedy spin-off of Hokuto no Ken? More sterile digital lines and weak jokes, no wonder kids think this is 'peak' when they never experienced the raw power of the original on VHS. We used to have standards, this is just... there 😒.
