A comfy start for a comfy show. Our two main characters get to know one another through a happenstance meetup and things start rolling from there. It's the classic nerd and gyaru trope set in Hokkaido.

Love the distinctness of the accent! And I didn't expect the MC to be this wholesome. Great start of the series

It's a cute and enjoyable romcom! I'm not expecting to have a good laugh when I watch this episode, but I really like the characters' dynamic so far! There are fan services ofc, but it's a mild one.

Episode Context

As the series premiere of a 12-episode run, this episode exists purely to establish the foundation. Tsubasa's displacement to Hokkaido, his first encounter with Minami, and the tonal blueprint for everything that follows. No prior context needed; this is your entry point. The dynamic introduced here between the reserved city boy and the energetic Hokkaido gal is the central thread the remaining eleven episodes will build on.
