EPISODE REVIEWS

This is the beach vacation promised in Episode 11, featuring the full cast and, of course, a happy ending

Episode Context

As episode 12 of 12, this is the definitive season closer, following the slice-of-life escalation of 'Umaru's Day' and paying off the steady relationship-building the show has invested in across the full run. The decision to unite Umaru's fragmented social circles in one setting serves as a natural culmination of the season's recurring theme, her double life and the people who unknowingly orbit it. While it wraps things up with a satisfying warmth, the open-ended nature leaves the door wide open for Season 2.
