📖 SYNOPSIS

"Himouto! Umaru-chan" presents a humorous look at the contrasting lives of Umaru Doma. In public, she is the ideal student: beautiful, intelligent, and athletic. She excels in school and is admired by her peers. However, at home, Umaru sheds this persona, revealing her true self: a spoiled, video game-loving, manga-reading, junk food-consuming "himouto." Her older brother, Taihei, bears the brunt of her transformation, constantly cleaning up after her and trying to manage her extravagant lifestyle. The series explores the dynamics of their sibling relationship, the challenges of maintaining a double life, and the comedic situations that arise from Umaru's contrasting personalities. The setting is primarily the siblings' apartment and Umaru's school, highlighting the contrast between her public and private worlds.
