This was a more intense episode that focused on the action and pushed the story forward. The build-up was handled well, creating a lot of tension before things reached their peak. It also added more depth to the characters and their relationships while setting up future conflicts. If you enjoy episodes that raise the stakes and bring more emotion into the story, this one delivers.
An action-heavy forest skirmish packed with highly dynamic supernatural choreography. The animators use fluid tracking shots to follow flying energy blasts and shattering barrier fragments through the dense woodland. The bright, explosive sparks of clashing spiritual elements provide an exciting visual punch against the dark trees.
There is some peak action in this episode. The animation looks crisp and the pacing is absolutely pure adrenaline rush. The competitive tone laid the foundation for some awesome character development in this episode.
