High Card

A great introduction that leaves you wanting more.

I don't know why but everytime I want to watch this series I end up abandoning it at the seventh episode approximately. I love the idea but I don't care about characters

Alright a pretty solid finale. The buildup that we were following all this season is here but It kinda feels rushed in some parts. It isnt the best closing to a season but it atleast made me hyped again for S2.

Things are starting to get real here. What is Chris's Goal? like what are his true intentions? The emotion and the stakes feel genuine again. This is a pretty good solid episode after what happened in episode 10.

They showed us Chris's backstory and the delivery was kinda clunky. kinda felt like they infodumped us instead of showing it. The lore is interesting but the episode was kinda the weakest of the season for me.

So the team was scattered and the tension is high. They had individual moments but idk for me it kinda felt rushed. The aftermath of the bombing was pretty sad though. High Card still watchable.

Finn being hunted by Bobby Ball for revenge and them fighting in Finns orphanage really adds to the stakes because people that Finn cares about are in danger and it makes this episode more emotional and shows Finns growth

Alot of comedy filler and maybe kind of needed after the last episodes heavier stuff. The Finn and Chris being stuck together is a pretty funny scene though.

The lore dump this episode was fine. The heist was also fine it kinda felt like a filler for me and I didnt really vibe with it but we did learn important info.

Sugar is a new addition. The episode was building the tension and the idea of a detective catching onto them is kind of making me hyped😁😁

Wendy is pretty cool and honestly this episode might be the best of S1. She is like a cold warrior thing going and then gets hammered at Finns welcome party

The rich kid twist was fun and the action has also gone back up. And Finn and Chris being a duo was a pretty fun watch.

A bit of a slow down after episode 1 tbh. Lots of talking and world building. But the team dynamic is already fun Leo the bratty 14 year old manager is pretty funny.

Bro this first episode goes hard. car chases, shootouts, a broke orphan stumbling into some spy level none sense we was locked in immediately, got some Kingsman vibes fr fr. You guys should definitely watch this first episode. 😁😁

What a finale.. Finn and Chris’s fight was so satisfying, especially with the truth about Tilt and the orphanage fire revealed. Bittersweet but earned redemption for Chris. Pinochle is more than a business they're family. That final shot? Bring on the next season...

This episode manages to give every team member a moment to shine, showing how much they've grown since the start of the season. The atmosphere is heavy, and you can really feel the world expanding as the royal history and the current chaos collide. Can't wait for the finale.

I knew things were getting heavy but that ending? hell nahh. The writers really sat there and chose violence. seeing the duo vibe get shredded is peak drama. If they keeps this energy , we’re in for a great treat for the finale.

The lore drop in this episode was massive. Seeing the history of the cards and how it ties back to the royal family adds such a cool layer to the series. The pacing is so good and that ending cliffhanger made me crashout. Can't wait to see the next episode.

Deep diving into chris’s backstory was exactly what the show needed. The weight he carries outside of pinochle explains so much about his cool exterior. The way the emotions they shown along with the usual cool action is top tier.

The tension between the different factions is finally heating up and i'm here for it. Seeing the business side of the card hunting mix with great combat makes the world feel so much bigger. The animation in the final few minutes was super good ,another banger episode.
