Another episode focusing on Haruo and Hidaka’s growing friendship. There are some funny moments and a showcase of a popular game series that still persists to this day. The cloudy setting and winter clothing sell the atmosphere, creating a cold yet comforting feeling during winter break.

Hi Score Girl Episode 5 had a fun New Year setting that made the story enjoyable and not boring at all. The gaming moments were entertaining, and the episode kept a light and cheerful atmosphere from start to finish.
