"Scandal" drops the show into its most genuinely tense territory yet and it handles the pressure really well. The premise is exactly what it sounds like something leaks, something gets out, and suddenly the carefully maintained wall between LIPxLIP's public image and their private reality starts to crack. The idol industry's obsession with controlling every narrative gets put under a harsh light here and the show doesn't shy away from how brutal that machine can be.
The first few scenes were so sweet and adorable because of what Aizo and Yujiro did after Hiyori's competition. Some of the scenes made me feel a little bad for Hiyori because of the situation she's in.
