Episode Context

At episode 9 of 26, the series has moved past its introductory phase and is deepening the central conflict between Taito's group and the imperial forces aligned with Keiro's ambitions. Previous episodes established the core cast, their motivations, and the mythological framework tying them together, while this episode likely escalates the political and military stakes heading into the season's middle stretch. What unfolds here should lay critical groundwork for the confrontations and revelations that define the back half of the series.
