Episode Context

Sitting exactly at the halfway mark of the 26-episode run, Episode 13 converts the building tensions from the first cour into a direct, unavoidable confrontation between Taito and Keiro, escalating from the fragile hope established in Episode 12. Ryuko's loyalty crisis introduced here becomes a defining pivot point for the second half, with the consequences of decisions made in this episode rippling through the remaining thirteen chapters. This is the narrative fulcrum the series hinges on, everything before was setup, and everything after responds to what happens here.
