Titled after their respective symbols (Chrysanthemum for Ju Fa, Peach for Tao Fa), the episode humanizes these immortal beings. Created as tools for immortality research, they only found genuine connection in each other. Their codependent love, innocence turning to monstrosity, and final moments of desperation add genuine tragedy to the villains, making their fusion feel heartbreaking rather than purely villainous.

The Ju Fa and Tao Fa backstory gives the fight some real heart. The combined Kishikai form is grotesquely creative. Gantetsusai carrying the episode again. Post-credits Shugen scene adds good tension.

As Gantetsusai's ridiculous action bears fruit, we are given a flashback of Ju Fa and Tao Fa’s early life, shedding light on the tragedy and cruelty of the Tensen. While containing less action, the revelations and character chemistry more than make up for it.

An interesting episode, with action and also development and backstory for certain characters.

The dynamic between Gantetsusai & Fuchi is really entertaining. It's also commendable of Chobei willing to sacrifice himself for his little brother. Love the fight and the dynamis duo.

Hype and intense battle

Finding out about some of the Tensens' past, gives some of the feels

Didn't expect a full backstory of some of the enemies. Was actually emotional and conflicting. This was topped up with an intense battle.

Shifting alliances and survival instincts drive careful positioning as fighters assess threats and conserve strength. Strategy focuses on timing, terrain awareness, and calculated cooperation, where reading opponents and controlling momentum becomes key to staying alive.

Whole series is just too good.
Unpredictable plot makes it even more interesting to watch every time.

The battle is ON!

Fuchi and Gantetsusai are carrying the comedy AND the hype this week! The way they adapt to the island's weirdness is so satisfying. The pacing is picking up for the finale and I’m genuinely scared for who makes it out alive. Peak fiction! <3
