the structural execution of the premiere establishes an exceptionally quick paced start to the new narrative arc. unfortunately the actual mechanical animation and overarching art direction remain noticeably chopped. situating the protagonist at the specific academy connected to earlier tragedies provides necessary grounding.

here again, for the leveling isekai slop, exactly what i need rn. super basic but the entire last season was just so incredibly enjoyable imo

Seeing them tease literally tons of new charas all at once right at the beginning.... entire village im telling you. the visual chopped asf tho

those slimes and bears looked so janky and the cgi is definitely a choice but the core loop of grinding out levels in a dungeon still feels satisfying and just like playing an actual rpg

I still get a kick out of Allen having straight E ranks and everyone laughing while he just knows he is playing on a harder difficulty setting than all of them and it makes the payoff better

Using a floating Rubik's cube as a dungeon manager is such a bizarre concept and it would have been funny to see someone try to solve it before entering the portal

That group of students laughing at Allen for his E rank stats was so annoying and they really have no clue how much he is actually holding back with those armored knights

I was so happy to see Allen finally reunite with his family in the snow and giving them all that gold was such a huge moment for his parents

I really missed this goofy show, and the new season looks like it actually has a better budget this time around. That moment when Allen pulled out the reinforced bears to absolutely wreck the goblin horde was such a satisfying way to shut everyone up after that E rank appraisal mess. It feels good to have my favorite trashy isekai back on my screen

I still cant get over how they gave Allen straight E ranks when he is clearly the strongest one there and the way everyone laughed made me so annoyed but it was worth it to see the summons later

That reunion with Mash and Miura in the snow really caught the viewers off guard because it shows how long he was actually away from home and seeing them cry made that scene feel so heavy
